For Louis, the best moment in the theatre was when the performance was over, the actors were leaving the stage, but the air in the auditorium was still vibrant with applause and emotions.

On such days, he and the other actors - the troupe was small, only four people - would go into the dressing room in silence. They simply put their honey white flowers, presented by the audience, in vases, sat in front of the mirrors, and washed off their make-up - mostly white powder. There was no need to talk, because they were on stage together and experienced everything together. Just when they were finally taking off their make-up, they took turns getting up from their chairs, gathering their things and saying to each other: "See you, mate", "See you", "Thank you", "Good night". This happened every time the performance was particularly good.
