I’m Lora Nekrasova, the founder of Bibliotheque de Parfum—a brand that combines craftsmanship, creativity, and deep emotion in every fragrance.
Bibliotheque de Parfum was founded in 2019 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. My vision was to create fragrances that do more than simply smell beautiful. I wanted them to leave a lasting impression, inspire people, and bring out the best in everyone. With a team of talented and passionate individuals, we began building a brand rooted in exceptional quality, artistry, and timeless elegance.
A Test of Resilience
On February 24, 2022, everything changed. Our hometown, Kharkiv, where our production was based, became a conflict zone. We had to relocate our production facilities to ensure the future of the brand. It was one of the most challenging periods in our history, but with the support of our team, family, and customers, we found the strength to carry on.
During this time, we completed the women’s fragrance collection "I Am", which we had started in 2020. In May 2022, we proudly debuted it at Cosmoprof Bologna. That moment became a symbol of our resilience and reaffirmed our belief in the power of what we do.
Growing Beyond Borders
Despite the challenges, 2023 marked an exciting new chapter for Bibliotheque de Parfum. We launched sales across Europe, where our fragrances were warmly embraced.
In 2024, we returned to Cosmoprof Bologna as an international brand, building new partnerships and strengthening our presence in the global market. That same year, we expanded to Canada, opening our first boutique in Toronto.
