ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE

Mid-July, the garden is in bloom. Bouquet roses, tea roses, climbing roses. Each bowl has its own aroma, but they merge into a single symphony. To assemble the bouquet and not hurt your hands, you work in suede gloves. You cut branch by branch, peel off the leaves. After that, you fill a vase with ice water, add ice cubes to it. You complement the bouquet with branches of fresh thuja. The perfume is distinctly rose, but more complex, because the shade is leather, smoke, needles.

Dedicated to Gianpiero

a rose gardener

Gianpiero worked as a gardener. He chose this profession when he was a young boy watching his mother cut roses from her own garden: she measured the length of the trunks to the millimeter, cut off the thorns and leaves from almost the entire length of the trunk with confident but careful movements, and then placed the flowers in a wide vase so that each flower was visible and had its own space.

Now, Gianpiero did it all himself. In addition to roses, he also tended thuja and limes, but his eyes were still on the flowers. He tended them with suede gloves, completely soaked in rose oil from years of work. He touched each flower, straightened the petals, and adjusted them like a girl's locks. The roses were his Madonna: they bloomed for him the longest of all the gardeners and seemed to even call and sing to him when the wind rose.

My Dark Horse Favorite

You know when you order discovery sets and you're ordering them for a few perfumes in particular, and the rest are just curiosities but mostly fillers in your mind. And then you get the discovery set, and you realize that one of the ones that you didn't even think twice about from reading the description is your all-time favorite. And that was the case for me with Rose Suede. It is just such a lovely perfume. The pink peppercorn and lime twist save the traditional rose scent from being your grandmother's perfume, and it really modernizes and elevates the experience. Highly recommend!

lovely fragrance

I love this fragrance. I love rose fragrances, but not those where the rose is too strong or stands out too much; I like rose to be complemented by the other notes. this is a good one.

Beautiful scent

I bought this perfume for mother-in-law. She is truly obsessed with it. She enjoys how people react when she passes by. The scent is complex, triggers her mind and she feels good.

The suede in the name is perfection

I loved the combination of notes in the description and took a chance on blind buying, not being a floral lover, but it's exquisite, so smooth and buttery,not the least bit cloying, absolutely brilliant.
