No one around him understood exactly what Herman was doing, but everyone knew the process. They kept an eye on him. They were watching. They ate up his body and movements with their eyes. In the morning (no one saw him leave, but they saw him return), he would haul freshly cut tree trunks on an armored truck. They were cleaned of branches, without leaves, barely damp. Then he would load them in the yard, tossing them like jasmine flowers. Next, and this was the process people loved the most, he peeled the bark off the trunks.

How did he do that? With his hands, with his own hands. Without tools, without electric saws, just like a cook peeling onions. One move, another, and the bark was gone. After that, he broke the wooden skin into pieces and threw it into the press. The citrus peels he received every week were put in the same place. The smell of the squeezed liquid spread throughout the neighborhood. The smell of damp wood, tar, freshness, musk. A little more time — finally his evening walk. People would come out of their homes to catch him carrying his bottled cargo to a distant market.

Finally!

I was pleasantly surprised with the scent and whole experience with Brutal Story. I took a chance and ordered the large size -- and boy, am I glad I took the jump and went for it! Everything, from the words and story about it to the packaging and that first sniff of this aromatic, masculine cologne, is the definition of attention to detail. Thank you for making this, and at a reasonable price no less. There's no doubt I want to make this my own scent for almost every occasion for the rest of my life :)

Powerful longevity

A wonderful example of this fragrance DNA (at this point it's almost its own family IMO) that has to be the most long lasting I have tried without being overpowering or one note. The blend and journey of this one is really enjoyable. Would highly recommend especially for the quality at this price point.

The perfect cologne

This cologne reminds me of roasting pineapples over a campfire. It's woody and pineapple like. This scent will last you 8 or more hours and can be worn anywhere. The packaging is so beautiful and the sample is nice add on.

Really masculine, powerful beginning, then the hurricane rush subsides, sea freshness appears in the air, the smell of ozone, bitter sweet greens, persistent aroma
